The Structure And Physicochemical Properties Of Nosiheptide

Nosiheptide is a sulfur-containing polypeptide antibiotic with the English name Nosiheptide.
It was first researched and trial-produced by the Rhone-Planck company, and it was found to be an excellent growth-promoting agent, but due to its low output and high cost, it failed to be widely promoted. Until the 1980s, a breakthrough was made in its production technology.
With its relative safety and good application effect, nosiheptide meets the current people's requirements for feed additives, and is an ideal substitute for feed antibiotics. Approved and widely used in the European Union and Japan.
Nosiheptide is a polypeptide antibiotic with 5 thiazole rings, its molecular formula is C51H43N13O12S6, and its molecular weight is 1222.
Nosiheptide is a yellow-green substance in the form of powder or fine needle crystals, with a melting point of 310-320°C (with decomposition). Nosiheptide is soluble in chloroform, pyridine, dimethylamine, dimethylsulfoxide, slightly soluble in methanol, ethanol, ethyl acetate and benzene, and insoluble in water.
